Overseeing the development, site acquisition, and related financing activities for Ardmore, Mr. White has led the firm in the successful development of over 6,000 units valued at over $800,000,000. His 20+ years of extensive experience provides Ardmore with a deep perspective when encountering changing market conditions. He is a licensed real estate broker, maintains the designation of Certified Property Manager, and is a principal and licensed General Contractor for Whitewood Construction. Mr. White previously served on the Board of Directors for the Piedmont Triad Apartment Association and the board of the local chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Mr. Tinder joined Ardmore Residential in 2015 and assumed the role of President in 2023. As President, he provides strategic vision and support for all aspects of Ardmore Residential. Since joining Ardmore in 2015, Mr. Tinder has utilized his experience in complex entity structures, financing and accounting activities, project development and lease up to oversee the successful management and transaction activity of the business. Prior to joining Ardmore Residential, Mr. Tinder provided real estate assurance and business advisory services for Dixon Hughes Goodman. He holds an MSA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Bachelor’s degree from Greensboro College.
Kevin Ingold serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Ardmore Residential and Whitewood Construction. In addition to overseeing the accounting department, Kevin is responsible for deal underwriting, investor management and reporting, and all corporate FP&A. Prior to joining Ardmore in 2017, he worked for Dixon Hughes Goodman providing assurance services for multifamily and renewable energy clients. Kevin holds a MSA from Wake Forest University and is a North Carolina licensed Certified Public Accountant.
With over 25 years working in Information Technology, including 20 consulting for Ardmore Residential, Mr. Jones joined the team full time as the Director of Technology in September of 2017. Previously, he had worked with clients ranging from single person startup businesses to multi-national Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Jones is a US Navy veteran and a graduate of ECPI. After graduation he worked in the corporate IT world for Inacom Information Systems and SDC Business Consulting before striking out on his own with Jones Computer and Networking. Mr. Jones returned to corporate IT with Longleaf Network and System Specialists before landing at Ardmore. He’s currently responsible for technology at all of the Ardmore properties.
Ashanti Smith-Watson is the Director of Training and Compliance for Ardmore Residential. Her current role includes overseeing property administrative processes, training, help desk support, and special projects. Mrs. Smith-Watson joined Ardmore in 2018 and has been active in the multifamily industry since 1999. Her property management experience includes luxury, independent senior, renovations, and tax-credit. She is a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker, a member of the Greater Raleigh-Durham Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and a Wake Forest University graduate.
Candis Smith joined Ardmore Residential in 2016 and brings over 12 years of experience in the multi-family industry. Candis has held every position from leasing to director, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the industry and its challenges. Ms. Smith received her BS in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. Candis believes in fostering a culture of excellence within the company and ensuring that every member of the team has the resources and support they need to succeed. As Director of Operations, Candis is committed to maintaining the high standards that Ardmore Residential is known for, and to continually improving the experience of residents and employees alike.
